Charity AME Church Social Action Mission
At Charity our commitment to social justice is rooted in our faith and mission to serve. This initiative is in the belief that Faith without work is dead (James 2:26), and as a church, we must be the moral compass that advocates justice, equity, and the well-being of all people. Our ongoing efforts for community wide social action will include key initiatives designed to let our voices be heard, strengthen our communities and hold policymakers accountable
for their actions. We partner with local and global organizations to address issues of housing, healthcare, environmental justice, and human dignity through direct action and advocacy. Our faith calls us to not only care for our congregation but to actively work toward justice and equity in the broader community.
